In response to a request from the Chief Incumbent of Sri Vijayarama Temple, troops of the 241 Infantry Brigade undertook a renovation project to renovate Sri Vijayarama Temple. The initiative was carried out under the instructions of Brigadier L.S.D.N Pathirathna RSP USP, Commander of the 241 Infantry Brigade. Financial support for the project was generously provided by Mr. AIA Rangana, a lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Vocational and Tertiary Education in Kadawatha.
