A special dengue control programme was held island-wide from 27 May 2024 to 01 June 2024. Simultaneously, a cleaning initiative was conducted by the 11 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops in Kaluvanchikudi area.
This targeted effort, carried out by Army troops and local health medical officers, took place from 30 May 2024 to 01 June 2024, aiming to mitigate the spread of dengue in the region.
