Due to the heavy rains and strong winds caused a tamarind tree to fall in the Radawadunna area, Pasyala on 23 May 2024.
Under the instructions of Colonel R.R de S Dharmawickrema RSP, Commander, 141 Infantry Brigade, troops of Regimental Centre of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment who belongs to Sector 14 promptly responded to the incident, clearing all the debris. This operation was conducted with information provided by the Disaster Management Center in Gampaha.
