Commander SFHQ-W Inaugurates Children's Park and Distributes School Supplies

The newly constructed children’s park at Gajasinghapura was inaugurated by Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commander of Security Forces - Wanni (SFHQ-W) on 21 May 2024. The children’s park was constructed by the troops of the 213 Infantry Brigade under the guidance of Major General H.H.K.S.S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division and the close supervision of Colonel P.M de Silva RSP USP, the Brigade Commander 213 Infantry Brigade.

Meanwhile, school accessories for 20 preschool children were also distributed during this event.

After the distribution ceremony, the newly constructed accommodation building for Other Ranks at Gajasinghapura was opened by Commander SFHQ-W.

Senior officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
