The Roll of Honour Inaugurated at Army Headquarters

Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu inaugurated the Roll of Honour at Army Headquarters on 22 May 2024 commemorating the recipients of the Parama Weera Vibhushanaya (PWV) gallantry award.

The PWV, denoting "Supreme Heroism Decoration," stands as Sri Lanka's highest military honour. It recognises Officers and Soldiers of the Sri Lanka Army who have displayed exceptional valour in the war, embodying courage and sacrifice beyond measure.

This new installation symbolises a tribute to these extraordinary individuals, showcasing their bravery and unwavering dedication to duty.

Major General W.H.K.S Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
