The newly appointed General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, Major General W.B.J.K Wimalaratne RWP RSP, visited 512, 513 Infantry Brigades and under command Battalions on 07 and 09 May 2024.
The visiting GOC was honored in a Guard Turnout at each Brigade and Battalion by Commanders of the respective Brigades, Commanding Officers of respective Battalions. Throughout the visit, the GOC engaged in detailed briefings regarding the role, tasks, and current operational status of the respective Brigades and Battalions, led by the Commanders of Brigades and Commanding Officers of Battalions. He further extended his visit to interact with personnel at each location addressing troops.
