4 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (4 SLLI) celebrated its 37th Anniversary on 05 May 2024 amidst military formalities under the guidance of Major P.K Waruwangodage RWP RSP USP, the Commanding Officer of 4 SLLI.
The troops greeted the Commanding Officer in a Guard Turnout and Battalion parade was conducted.
Furthermore, a bodhi pooja ceremony, an all-night pirith chanting ceremony and an almsgiving for the members of maha sangha were conducted with the intention of invoking blessings for the troops. Finally, a friendly cricket tournament among Officers, Other Ranks and civil staff in the Battalion was also conducted.
