The Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE) Major General M.K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, made an official visit to the Home of Sappers Mattegoda on 07 May 2024.
Upon arrival of the Colonel Commandant, he was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding of the Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division, Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP psc.
In line with the programme, the Colonel Commandant addressed to the troops of the Engineer Division, 5 Field Engineer Regiment, 14 CBRNE Regiment SLE and 16 Workshop Regiment SLE, followed by an All Ranks tea at the SALEBA Convention Hall.
Major General P.P.A Perara Hdmc psc, Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army, the Centre Commandant, Staff Officers of Engineer Division, Commanding Officers of respective units, many Senior Officers and Officers participated in the event.
