At the invitation of Gataberikande Rathanasiri Nayaka Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Sri Jayathilakarama Viharaya, Peliyagoda, Major General S.W.M. Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Commander of Security Forces – West (SF-West), graced the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the new hermitage building (Awasa Kutiya) at Sri Jayathilakarama Viharaya, as the chief guest on 07 March 2024.
The General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks also participated in the event.
