Colombo Army Hospital Educates DSCSC Student Officers on Healthy Living through "Healthy Army-Healthy Nation" Project

The Colombo Army Hospital conducted an awareness programme under the ‘Healthy Army - Healthy Nation’ project to educate student Officers of Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Sapugaskanda on prevention from non-communicable diseases. The event took place on 16 March 2024, at the College premises under the supervision of Brigadier A.S.M. Wijewardhane USP.

The awareness program began with a lecture on secrets to longevity conducted by Brigadier A.S.M. Wijewardana USP, followed by sessions on stress management conducted by Captain A.M Thelwaththa, healthy eating presented by Major A.C.K. Udugama, and benefits of exercises by Bvt Colonel B.L. Ranasinghe.

Major General B.K.G.M.L. Rodrigo RSP psc IG, the Commandant of DSCSC, Senior Officers, Directing Staff, and student Officers participated in the event.
