12 Infantry Division Supports Maha Shivratri Kovil Pooja at Sellakatharagama Ganadevi Kovil

Troops of the 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) and 3 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) of 12 Infantry Division upon the request of the Chief Priest of the Sellakatharagama Ganadevi Kovil, extended their support to cook meals for devotees who attended the religious rituals on Maha Shivarathri Day (08 March 2024).

Accordingly, the troops of the 20 SLSR and 3 SLNG provided their maximum support to ensure the success of the program, and more than 5000 devotees participated in the religious observances.
