A "Clean Sri Lanka" programme was conducted on 08 June 2025 at the Sri Sailabimbaramaya Temple in Irattaperiyakulama under the guidance of Major General W.W.M.P.W.W.B.R Palamakumbura RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division and the supervision of Brigadier P. M De Silva RSP USP, Commander of the 213 Infantry Brigade.
Troops from the 2(V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, together with local civilians, actively participated in the initiative.
The programme included a comprehensive temple and surroundings cleaning campaign, a tree-planting activity, and an awareness lecture aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental sustainability in line with the “Clean Sri Lanka” national initiative.
