To be in parallel with the Presidential national project ‘Surakimu Ganga’ in Kataragama, meant to conserve and clean rivers in Sri Lanka, a similar programme at Northern Province level got underway near Kanagarayan Aru river basin in Kilinochchi on Monday (22).
At the invitation of Director, Central Environmental Authority of Northern Province, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, together with Commander, Forward Maintenance Area - Kilinochchi, Major General Piyal Nanayakkarawasam attended the inaugural ceremony of the conservation project.
In addition, Hon Governor for Northern Province, Mrs P.S.M Charles, Hon Member of Parliament Angajan Ramanathan, senior state officials, tri service officers and civilians were present at the location. Running sport media | Sneakers
