‘Personality Development’ Programme for Children Launched

A Leadership programme was conducted for 60 children in Moneragala District on the instructions of Major General P. U. S Vithanage, Commander, Security Forces-Central (SF-C) during October 31 – November 01 at the Volunteer Force Training School, Diyathalawa.

A total of 10 Child Rights Promotion Officers conducted lectures of the programme during the meet at Diyatalawa.

Lecturers focused on ‘Personality Development, Development of personality Through Physical Exercises, etc and several other related aspects.

Lieutenant Colonel B. M. R. J Bandara, Commanding Officer, Volunteer Force Training School delivered the opening address and the closing address of the programme.

Children received certificates of attendance towards the end of the programme.

Lieutenant Colonel H. D. J. P Weerathunga, General Staff Officer I, together with senior officers, officers, Instructors and other ranks attended the event.
