A panel of resource personnel, including Mrs Pavithra Wanniarachchi, Hon Minister of Health, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, Dr Sudath Samaraweera, Chief Epidemiologist of the Epidemiology Unit, Deputy Inspector General Ajith Rohana, Police Spokesman took part in Sunday morning's (11) ‘Koronawata Erehiwa Yali Negitimu' (Let's Rise Against Corona again), discussion telecast live in ITN and Rupavahini and simultaneously broadcast in SLBC and Lakhanda radios.
A broad spectrum of perspectives, concerns and latest developments in regard to resurgence of Corona clusters, transmission's status quo, need for preventive health practices, and how to mitigate the increase of COVID-19 positive patients, etc were discussed in depth during the programme.
