Brigadier Chaminda Pasquel of the Gemunu Watch (GW) assumed duties as the new Commandant at ‘Abimansala 3’ at Pangolla on Thursday (Mar 16) during a brief ceremony.
On his arrival, the incoming Commandant was warmly received by Staff Officers at the ‘Abimansala 3’ before he symbolized the inauguration of his new office by leaving his signature for a document.
During refreshments, he shared views with Staff Officers and Other Ranks before he undertook a visit to meet War Heroes resident at this wellness resort.
He succeeds Brigadier Chaminda Thibbotuge who has now been appointed as the Center Commandant at Regimental Centre of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
