‘Abhimansala - 3’ Inmates Taken on Tour

Dependent War Heroes, resident at the wellness resort, ‘Abhimansala - 3’ at Pangolla, Kurunegala during November 23 - 25 were taken on an excursion to historic tourist sites in Anuradhapura and Trincomalee areas.

The programme, intended to raise the morale of those inmates and inspire them was organized with the support of the Directorate of Rehabilitation in the Army and the Commandant, Abhimansala - 3. During the tour, those War Heroes visited the eight places of worship, Sanda Hiru Seya and other places of importance in Anuradhapura, Seruwawila Mangala Maha Seya, Mavil Aru sluice gates, Trincomalee hot water wells, Marble Beach and Koneshwaran Kovil.

All facilities were provided by the officers and other rankers in the ‘Abhimansala - 3’ for success of the tour.
