‘Mr Sri Lanka’ National Competition Gives More Wins for Army Body Builders

The Sri Lanka Army’s, ‘Mr Sri Lanka’ National Competition 2015 was held at Kularathne auditorium at Colombo Ananda College, on Sunday (13).

Hon. Minister of Finance, Ravi Karunanayake together with Hon. Minister of Sports, Dayasiri Jayasekara graced the occasion as the Chief Guests and gave away trophies and medals to the winners.

A total of 21 competitors participated in the event by representing Army Body building team. Army members won 11 medals, including 04 gold medals, 05 silver medals and 02 bronze medals.

Major General M.H.G Mihidukulasooriya, Commander, Forward Maintenance Area - East (FMA-E), Colonel Commandant, Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) and also the Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Body building, Weight Lifting & Power Lifting Committee too participated and gave away trophies and Medals for the winners.
