The Year’s Second OCDC Seminar Begins

The second thematic Seminar, ‘Countering Violent Extremism; Contemporary Trends and Challenges’ at Buttala OCDC takes place during 19 - 20 December 2019 with the participation of a host of military and civil scholars.

Major General Nirmal Dharmaratne, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army as the Keynote Speaker cum the Chief Guest will grace the inaugural session.

At the invitation of the Commandant, OCDC, Major General Jayanath Jayaweera, a large gathering of scholars, Prof Amal Jayawardane, Senior Professor, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), Major General (Retd) Aruna Jayasekara, Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Mrs Manisha S. Wanasinghe Pasqual and Dr Chamila Thalagala are billed to address the forum.
