In order to educate pregnant women, a workshop on ‘Mental Health and Early Childhood Development’ was organized on Wednesday (20) at Puleliya, Kiralagala Temple jointly by 2 Mechanised Infantry Regiment and 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops.
Mr Dharshana Neranjan Madawala and Mrs Nethmali Munasinghe from Colombo International Institute of Higher Education conducted this workshop.
Over 51 pregnant women participated in the workshop and troops of the 213 Brigade provided them with tea and lunch.
The event was organized under the supervision of the Commander, 213 Brigade, Colonel K.A.W.S Rathnayake.
