1 Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (1 SLAWC), together with the SLAWC Regimental Centre troops and the SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch organized an ‘ice cream 'Dansala’ on Poson day (03) in order to commemorate the Poson Full Moon Poya Day in front of the SLAWC Regimental Centre, Borella.
This project was organized under the guidance and directions given by Major General U.D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaitivu and Colonel Commandant of the SLAWC, together with Mrs Shyamali Wijesekera, Chairperson of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch.
Commanding Officer of 1 SLAWC closely monitored the necessary arrangements, patronized by All Ranks of the Regimental Centre and all members of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch.
Colonel Commandant of SLAWC, Chairperson of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch, members of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch, Officers and Other Ranks of SLAWC Regimental Centre and 1 SLAWC took part in the conduct of the free treat.
