50 kids learning at Thirumurukkandi Indupuram pre-school in Kilinochchi were treated to a sumptuous lunch and gifted with school accessories on Monday (3).
The arrangement that coincided with the World Children’s Day was sponsored by 6 (v) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) serving the area. The occasion saw those kids staging a variety show before the lunch treat. 50 gift parcels were also given to those kids at the same occasion.
6 (v) SLAWC Commanding Officer, 13 Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) Commanding Officer, several other ranks, teachers and a few other invitees joined the occasion.
