Troops of the Security Forces - West assisted to extinguish a mini fire, erupted in a paper bag factory in Depanama, Pannipitiya this morning (18) after the Police and fire-fighters turned to the troops for support.
A group 8 troops from the 142 Brigade and an Officer with 5 Other Ranks of 9 (volunteer) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) rushed to the location and assisted the fire fighters.
