Commander Security Forces-West, Major General Vikum Liyanage, accompanied by the General Officer Commanding, 14 Division - Major General Sujeewa Senarathyapa made a formal visit to the 141 Brigade HQ in Veyangoda on Tuesday (29) .
Upon his arrival, the West Commander was greeted a drive pass at the entrance and welcomed by the Brigade Commander - Brigadier Pradeep Gamage. A subsequent comprehensive briefing on the role and tasks in the area of responsibilities, presented by the Brigade Commander, Commander Security Forces - West and General Officer Commanding 14 Division followed and invited him to join a tree planting to mark the official visit,
Afterwards, he visited the Headquarter 8 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry. Commander Security Forces-West and General Officer Commanding 14 Division were warmly welcome by the Commanding Officer, 8 Sri Lanka Light Infantry - Lieutenant Colonel K.Y Priyadarshana on arrival there.
