Week-long Workshop for East-based Officers Ends

A week-long workshop to educate young officers on military professionalism and comradeship successfully ended on Tuesday (21) at the SFHQ-East premises in Welikanda, following directions of the Commander of the Army and the Commander Security Forces- East to be in line with the 'Sri Lanka Army Way Forward Strategy 2020 - 2025’.

This workshop discussed Army procedures, military doctrines, training modules, and the responsibilities of the officers as per the vision of the Sri Lanka Army stipulated in ‘the Sri Lanka Army Way Forward Strategy 2020 – 2025’. Lectures also covered Administrative and Operational aspects of the Army, Officers Career Progression, management of social media, etc.

Moreover, the officers attended the practical sessions very enthusiastically and the workshop concluded during a closing ceremony.
