Under the guidance of Rev. Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Medankara Thero and the close supervision of Brigadier N.S.S. Dias RSP, Brigade Commander of the 111 Infantry Brigade, the troops of 10th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment took noble steps to escort 50 war-affected disabled Army personnel of the Gajaba Regiment (GR) to pay homage in close proximity to the Sacred Tooth Relic on 12 July 2024.
Following this, Rev. Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Medankara Thero graciously hosted a tea party and a lunch for the War Heroes, accompanied by gifts.
The event was attended by Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and staff of the Temple of the Tooth Relic, underscoring the significance of this meaningful programme.
