Wanni Commander Visits Formations

Major General M.H.S.B. Perera, Commander, Security Force Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ-W) made a formal visit to the 612 Brigade and 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) during 20 - 23 December.

The visiting Wanni Commander was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 61 Division and the Brigade Commander, 612 Brigade.

A guard Turn Out to be in line with military formalities presented by the troops of the 612 Brigade saluted the Commander, SFHQ- W at the Brigade Headquarters premises.

At the same time Commander, 612 Brigade briefly explained the present situation of the Brigade to the visiting Wanni Commander.

Subsequently, the visiting SF Commander planted a tree sapling to mark his visit to the 612 Brigade Headquarters.

Finally, the SF Commander visited the 20 SLSR camp where he was welcomed by the Commanding Officer and addressed the troops on 23 December.
