Wanni Commander Makes Field Visits to 21 Division HQ & Its Units

The recently-appointed Commander Security Forces - Wanni Major General Priyantha Perera visited the 21 Division and its under command Brigades and Battalions on 19 November 2020 in Anuradhapura area.

The visiting Commander was honoured in a Guard Turnout at the 21 Infantry Division Headquarters and invited to plant a sapling at the Division premises by the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Division Major General Vikum Liyanage after he was warmly received on arrival.

Thereafter a briefing on role & tasks of the 21 Division presented by Major General Vikum Liyanage enlightened the visiting Commander, SF, Wanni. Afterwards, he made field visits to 213 Brigade Headquarters, Regional Ordnance Depot - Gajasinghapura, 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) and 2 Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR) camps in nearby areas.
