Major General Boniface Perera, Commander Security Force Headquarters Wanni, (SFHQ-W) visited 2 Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corp (SLAOC) and 3 Sri Lanka Army Service Corp (SLASC) serving the SFHQ-W on Friday (3).
Commanding officers of respective Battalions warmly received Commander while troops offered Guard Turnouts to be in line with military traditions.
At the same time, Commander planted tree saplings to remember his visits to both units and briefed the Commanding Officers regarding their roles and tasks.
Moreover, Commander underlined the importance of commitment and dedication of officers for the betterment of the organization. Besides, Commander addressed other ranks of both units and stressed the significance of maintaining discipline, leadership and training.
