Wanni Army Field Hospital Gets New Critical Care Beds

The recently-renovated Field Military Hospital at the Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W) which provides all forms of medical treatment to hundreds of Army and service personnel became further equipped on Tuesday (18) when a philanthropist donated most wanted two Critical Care Beds to the hospital in response to a request made to that effect by Brigadier Harendra Ranasinghe, Brigadier General Staff at the SFHQ-W.

To be in line with the conceptual notion of Major General Kumudu Perera, Commander, Security Forces-Wanni that the troops should be awarded priority in medical care, Mr Senaka Rodrigo, a leading businessmen in Kuliyapititya area came forward to donate those vital two beds for the benefit of soldiers in the SFHQ-W.

The requirement of Critical Care Beds was a long-felt need for the Emergency Treatment Unit since the patients admitted under emergency conditions had to undergo difficulties when getting treatment.

At present, the Field Military Hospital at the SFHQ-W consists of most modern medical facilities and is functioning well with a dedicated medical staff.

Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Harendra Ranasinghe along with Brigadier Administration and Quartering, Colonel Indu Samarakoon were present when those two beds were delivered, together with several Officers and Other Ranks.jordan release date | Nike
