'Virusaviya' Insurance Package for SLAVF Personnel Signed with SL Insurance Corporation

An agreement on the ‘Virusaviya’ Insurance Package that functions between the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) and Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation was signed for the forthcoming year on (Tuesday) 14 November 2023 at the Head Office of the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation.

This package provides an assortment of welfare benefits such as outdoor medical treatments, indoor medical treatments, surgeries, death, child birth, etc. The agreement was officially signed between the SLAVF, represented by Major General U.D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc, SLAVF Commandant, Major General M.T.K.R Silva KSP, SLAVF Deputy Commandant, Brigadier B.M.R.J Bandara, SLAVF Brigadier Administration and the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation officials, represented by Mr. Ronald C Perera, President’s Counsel and the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation.

The momentous occasion was attended by Colonel L.W.A.D.S Wickramasinghe (Colonel Welfare & Public Relations), Mr. Chandana L Aluthgama (Chief Executive Officer), Mr. Mahesh Gamage (Additional General Manager -Corporate Business and Marketing) and Mr Ravi Mendis (Manager Public Sector Division).
