In line with Vesak Poya, the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (VIR-SVB), together with the Regimental Centre and all VIR Battalions, conducted a chickpea and ice cream dansala on 12 May 2025 at Malpitiya Junction. The event was held under the guidance of Mrs. Damayanthi Bandaranayake, Chairperson of VIR-SVB.
Major General K.A.W.N.H Bandaranayake USP, Commander, Security Forces (Central) and Colonel of the Regiment of VIR, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks, participated in the event.
