VIR Hosts Successful Officers Training Day and Diners Club

Under the guidance of Major General S.R.B. Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR), the Officers Training Day and Diners Club took place on 26 June 2024 at the VIR headquarters with the participation of 100 Officers.

Activities commenced with drill training, followed by a lecture session conducted by Dr. Crishal Lakshitha from the Provincial Department of Health Services, North Western Province, on 'Lifestyle Modification'. Sub Inspector K.A.H.S. Amarasiri of the Sri Lanka Police provided essential guidance on Sri Lanka’s traffic rules.

Later in the evening, Mr. Prasantha Lal de Alwis, President’s Counsel, delivered a lecture titled ‘The Bridge between Military and People’ during the Diners Club session. This session offered Officers an opportunity to share perspectives and participate in an interactive discussion.
