Villagers of Gomarankadawala, Morawewa, Thiriyani and Welgamvehera in the verge of celebrating the Sinhala and Hindu New Year received 1000 gift parcels comprising essential commodities coordinated by 22 Division under the guidance of General Officer Commanding Brigadier Aruna Wanniarachchige on Saturday (6).
The distribution of the donation, made by Janasarana Foundation, was organized by 6th Sri Lanka Signals Corp, 6th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and 2nd Gajaba Regiment serving under 221 Brigade.
Chairperson of the Janasarana Foundation Dr. Soma Edirisingha, National Organizer Mr. Ruchira Radampala and many senior officers were present at the event.
