VAKANERI village in Batticaloa that comes under 231 Brigade with assistance of the Japanese Jen Organization received a training in nutritious cooking during a workshop conducted in the community hall at Vakaneri.
Many housewives in the village enthusiastically joined the workshop very well coordinated by the Army in the area.
The villagers as well as the representatives from the NGO appreciated the welfare and coordination, organized by the Army.
