A total of 6271 people of 2229 resettled people, in Veherathenna, Kambiliwewa, Bogaswewa I & II, Nandimithragama, Namalgama and Selalihinigama villages in Vavuniya, had a series of inaugural openings on Monday (28).
In less than a year, Veherathenna and Kambiliwewa villages enjoyed the receipt of electricity to their homes on Monday (28) during a ceremony, organized jointly by the local government and the SFHQ-W.
At the auspicious minute Hon Shehan Semasinghe, Anuradhapura District Parliamentarian along with Major General Boniface Perera, Commander Security Force Headquarters (SFHQ-W) Wanni and a host of other invitees, switched on the electricity supply and inaugurated the project.
