US Marine Corps Pacific Commanding General calls on Commander

The US Marine Corps Forces Pacific Commanding General, Lieutenant General Wallace C. Gregson, currently on a visit to Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shantha Kottegoda on Wednesday (04) morning.

On arrival at the Army Headquarters, a Guard of Honour was accorded to the visiting military dignitary by troops of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment before he was introduced to Senior Officers of the Army by the Commander.

Both military leaders during their meet at Commander\'s Office exchanged views on matters of mutual interest. The visiting dignitary was also requested to place his signature in the VIP Visitors\' Book at Army Headquarters to mark his visit to the premises.
