Team Sergeant of the Civil Affairs Team in the US Embassy in Colombo, SFC Derek Morris and Civil Affairs NCO, Staff Sergeant Eric Cray during a visit to the peninsula met Major General Priyantha Perera, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna at the Security Force HQ- Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Monday (8).
During the cordial meeting, matters pertaining to Civil - Military Coordination (CIMIC) projects and reconciliation process in the Jaffna peninsula were discussed.
Commander, Security Forces explained the present state of the CIMIC process in the Jaffna peninsula and other matters of general importance.
