A diplomatic delegation, headed by Ms Patricia Butenis, US Ambassador for Sri Lanka recently met Major General Nandana Udawatta, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) with the intention of receiving an update, in relation to ongoing development, de-mining work, resettlement, infrastructure and security concerns.
The cordial meeting, held at the SFHQ-KLN office in Kilinochchi enabled the US delegation to receive a comprehensive account of the current situation in the Kilinochchi sector.
The US delegation towards the end of the discussion presented a symbolic memento to the Commander, SFHQ-KLN before they took leave of him.
