A high-level diplomatic delegation from the US visited Jaffna Wednesday (April 28) in order to receive an update on the current security situation in the peninsula.
Mr. Jeffrey J. Lunstead, US Ambassador for Sri Lanka and Mrs. D. S. Lunstead, Mr.Alex Moore, Regional Security Officer of USA, Mr. Chris Long, Political Officer USA and Ms. Padmini Rajadorai, Political Specialist of USA received an update of the current security situation in the peninsula from Commander, Security Forces Jaffna Major Gen M. D. S Chandrapala during a meet they had at Jaffna Commander's office.
