As part of the practical training plan for second-year students of the Department of Psychology at the University of Peradeniya, a one-day psychological workshop was held on 29 July 2024 at the 1 Sri Lanka Army Rifle Corps lecture hall. The workshop aimed to prepare Army personnel who are to be retired in the near future for a successful retirement life.
The workshop was conducted under the guidance of the Commander of the Security Forces (Central) and the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 11 Infantry Division. A total of 37 troops from the 11 Infantry Division participated in the workshop.
