With the financial assistance and sponsorship of ‘Guna Jaya Sathuta’ Foundation and Mr and Mrs Gamini Kariyawasam of Moratuwa, Angulana, the 211 Brigade Headquarters under the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) organized the distribution of 210 school uniforms and 750 exercise books, worth about Rs 127,500/= among students through principals at Alagalla Vidyalaya, Sri Gunananda Vidyalaya, Perakum Maha Vidyalaya and Madukanda National School in Vavuniya district on Friday (6).
With directions given by Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, Security Force Headquarters – Wanni, those stocks were handed over to the respective principals.
