Undergraduates in Peradeniya University Educated on Leadership

One day out-bound leadership training programme for the undergraduates in Post Graduate Diploma course at the University of Peradeniya was launched by Security Force Headquarters – Central on Friday (6) at Dunumadalawa Forest Reserve, Kandy to their request.

The training programme got underway in response to the request of the University from the Ministry of Defence.

The Commander Security Forces - Central, Major General P.U.S Vithanage gave the instructions. The training programme was meant to enhance the knowledge of 102 participants on leadership.

The undergraduates experienced an adventure expedition by way of mountain hiking, physical trainings, outdoor activities and informative lectures during the training programmes.

A total of 04 officers and 30 other ranks from 2 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 1 and 2 Sri Lanka Riffle Corps conducted lectures and demonstrations in the training programme to inculcate the training undergraduates.
