2 soldiers representing the Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W) clinched the top awards at the recently-concluded SIO Course No 53 held at Army Training School (ATS), Maduruoya.
Those awards were given away during the recent Passing out parade of the course attendees.
Private Ruwan Kumara of 16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (16 SLSR) was adjudged the Best Shooter while Lieutenant N.K.G.U.M Gunerathna of 26 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) received the trophy as the Best All-Rounder of the Course.
