TROOPS under command to 234 Brigade in Kalawanchikudi conducted a Dengue prevention campaign on last Saturday (12) between 8.00 a.m. - 1.30 p.m..
The campaign covered the area between Kalawanchikudi centre and Kaludaweli main road in Batticaloa. Commanding officers in the 18th Battalion of Sinha Regiment, two officers and fifty other ranks in cooperation with the Regional Medical Officer and Public Health Inspectors (PHI) took part in the project. About 100 people living in the area also joined in the community project.
