Troops of the 613 Brigade under command to the 61 Division of the Security Forces -West distributed 40 dry ration packs among needy families in and around Kamburupitiya on Tuesday (12).
The donation was sponsored jointly by “Mithudam Helping Hand” organization and Dr. Bhagya Weerawardena by responding to requests and the coordination was done by Brigadier Upul Kodithuwakku, Commander 613 Brigade and Lieutenant Colonel Viraj Abeysingha of Sri Lanka Artillery.
The distribution programme was held at the 613 Brigade headquarters in Kamburupitiya.
