Troops Serve Refreshments to Devotees Attending Church Feast

Offer of refreshments and water to over 1000 pilgrims, who attended the recent Palaithivu St. Anthony's Church feast was carried out along Nochchimunai beach and Valaippadu beach patches by troops of the 11 (V) Gajaba Regiment and 2 Sri Lanka National Guard of the 66 Division as a community-oriented project.

This programme was conducted to further promote public relations between civilians and military personnel in Kilinochchi area on the directions given by the General Officer Commanding, 66 Infantry Division, Major General M.D Wijesundera.
