Troops Salute Outgoing SF West Commander

Major General W.H.K.S Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, the outgoing Commander of Security Forces (West), was honoured in a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour at the Security Forces Headquarters (West) in Panagoda on Tuesday (19 Dec).

Following the salute, Major General W.H.K.S Peiris participated in a group photograph with the troops, capturing the momentous occasion. Afterwards he addressed the troops, expressing gratitude for their valuable service during his tenure.

Subsequently, as a token of appreciation for his outstanding leadership and dedication, Major General W.H.K.S Peiris was presented with mementos by the members of the SFHQ West troops. Those symbolic gestures represented gratitude and honor towards the outgoing Commander, acknowledging his contribution to the commitment for his duties at SFHQ - West.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the Security Forces Headquarters (West) took part in the program.
