Troops Repair the Roof of Helpless Woman's Home

Responding to a humanitarian request made by Mrs Kaneshan Janeshvari, a resident in Vakarai area, Colonel Wasantha Hewage, Commander 233 Brigade took steps to renovate the partially-damaged roof of her house before starting the North East monsoon rainy season.

Within two days of time, the damaged roof was renovated by the troops of 233 Brigade under command to 23 Division and the Security Forces-East handed over to the owner on Monday (06).
