To coincide with the 72nd anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, troops of the 19 Sri Lanka National Guard along with villagers in Dagampitiya area, took an initiative to repair a house of a needy family, resident in Dagampitiya, Kelanigama in Ginigathhena area.
Accordingly, the newly-repaired house was formally warmed in the presence of Mrs Mangala Kumari, the beneficiary by Brigade Commander of 112 Brigade, Brigadier Anura Disanayake on the Army Day (10 October 2021).
